Do you have an incredible Mom and/or Dad?  Would you like to express your love to them by writing a short narrative about them?  Take a few moments and ponder all that mom and dad mean to you and sit down at your computer and share it with us. 

We always look forward to encouraging the FAMILY here at Old Fort, so the next several weeks, we will look at how amazing God’s design really is for family.  There may be a lot of faults and failures in our past within our families, however, God’s Amazing Grace outshines them all.  With hearts focused on God and a passion to love our families, we can renew our experience and relationships together. 

Let’s celebrate the family together.  I look forward to reading about your mom and dad and sharing in your emotions too.  I am sure some will bring laughter, while others may turn us to tears. 

Be blessed with the family God has given you.  Also, don’t forget about the blessing of your church family as well.  Happy writing…

Dr. Letcho has been challenged to challenge us about servanthood over the next few weeks.  What a great platform to spring from after the Passion Play season where we saw hundreds give of time and talent to come together to share Christ’s message of truth to a lost world. 

As a servant, we are to be surrendered to our King.  I hope you first identify your King, then surrender all you have to Him.  Don’t worry, He is worthy.  He is the Lion and the Lamb, the One who sits at the right hand of God the Father and the only one that is worthy to open the scroll.  He alone conquered death and fulfilled the plan of salvation as the unblemished sacrifice for all our sins so that we might be clothed with the righteousness of God alone. 

Have you surrendered ALL that you are?  All that you have?  How about your time?  Your attitudes?  Your position at work?  Your bank accounts?  The Bible teaches that we are to give 1/10 to the church for it’s work, however, God wants all that you have.  When you think about it, who gave it to you?  What did you do to deserve anything?  God has given you your health so that you can work.  He has given you the desires of your heart to work at something you are good at.  So that paycheck really is a result of His work in your life.
