We will continue work on “WE WILL STAND”. The two choir anthems are: “Blades of Grass and Pure White Stones” along with “We Will Stand”.
This week some of our orchestra will be with us. We are looking at a 10 piece group of instruments to help us out with our music that day. Special thanks go out to Lauren Robertson, our resident Floutist, for her help and recruitment of the team this year.
We will continue to rehearse as a choir through Wednesday, July 1 and will begin our break through the summer and resume on Wendesday, August 26th as IGNITE resumes. Our first choir anthem of the new year will be on Sunday, September 13th.
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM: We have a first draft. It is rough, but some direction. The team will be meeting this summer and finalizing music and script. We will begin our new season with auditions for soloists and the few speaking parts we will need. As of now we are looking to present the program on Saturday and Sunday, December 12 and 13th, so keep your calendar clear for those days. May have a matinee AND evening on the 12th, with a final on Sunday evening the 13th. We are prayerfully seeking whether we need to plan on 2 or 3 presentations this year.
